Link Bait is something you create or wrote on web that inspires other people to link to it. The link may be via a web page, blog, social bookmark site, newsletter, email or any other method. Matt Cutts defines link bait as anything “interesting enough to catch people’s attention.”

How to link Bait successfully?
Link bait brings higher traffic to your site and therefore higher search engine rankings. Everyone should nurture an understanding of this extensively discussed link-generating ability. So that hugely successful link  bait  project that boosts your site to the front page of Digg or generates traffic so overwhelming that your server crashes. News, contrary, attack, resource, humor, Tool hooks, fear & Evil hooks are the mastered categories found amoung various SEO experts sites.

Make your site a reliable source for news-seekers. Keeping yourself up to date with the events around blogosphere, neighborhood, community, city, state, country, or world will reflect well on you and aid you in developing a trustworthy rapport among future potential clients.
